DVD Authoring & Premastering
We offer complete DVD Video and hybrid DVD-Video / DVD-ROM authoring and premastering services.
Authoring refers to the process of designing, creating, collecting, formatting, and encoding material. Premastering is the process of preparing data in the final format to create a DVD disc image for mastering. This includes creating DVD control and navigation data, multiplexing data streams together, encoding video, audio, and sub-pictures. The complete disc image can be output to DLT for replication or DVD-R for duplication. Replication is for quantities of 500 discs or more, and duplication is for 1 to 500 discs.
Most projects will require MPEG2 video encoding and audio encoding, and a basic menu. More complex projects may require additional features including title sequences, backgrounds, multi-layer menus, chapter markers, foreign language audio tracks and sub titles. Web links can also be added to browse content on the disc or internet / intranet.
VIDEO INPUT FORMATS:
VHS, S-VHS, Hi8, DVCAM, MiniDV, BetacamSP, Digital Betacam, and DVCPro. NTSC - additional charge for PAL.
