In its 8th year, the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival will feature the very best in ski and snowboard sporting events, including the World Skiing and World Snowboard Invitational, the spectacular Salomon Big Air and Superpipe Events, and the Crossmax Series. Complemented by the DKNY//JEANS LIVE Outdoor Concert Series, a solid line-up of emerging talent, established rock stars and cutting edge musicians will make the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival an event of a lifetime. In past years, the Festival has become the stomping ground for emerging artists destined to make headlines including the likes of Nickelback, Mix Master Mike, Big Sugar, Pennywise, Matthew Good Band and Sloan. Endorsed by TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival, 542 East Productions plans to include live performances as well as downloadable MP3's of musical talents performing at this year's event. As well as sports and music, the DVD project will also include the prestigious Pro Photographer Search and Showdown, the expanding Filmmaker Showdown and an all-new Interactive Showdown.
